Q: what besides appendicitis causes lower right stomach pain?
I have very intense lower right stomach pain. It is much worse upon standing and very painful upon standing after voiding. I know its not appendicitis because three of my children have had ruptured appendices so I know what to look for there.
I do not have a fever or nausea bowel function is normal. I do not have health insurance so I can just go to doctor if its something minor. But this pain is so intense that I walk like a very pregnant woman! (I am not pregnant!)
A: go to the hospital, they’ll bill u later. They can’t refuse a patient because they have no health insurance. It’s illegal. They’ll bill u. Deal with the payment later
Q: What could cause stomach pain right after I eat, and I gave birth less then two weeks ago?
I had my son on the 9th, and since then have found very little time to eat. But when I do eat, RIGHT after my stomach feels like it is just aching with pain. I don’t know what it could be… anyone have an idea??
A: Where is the pain and what are you eating? If it’s more towards your right under your ribs and you’ve been eating fatty foods I would guess it’s your gallbladder. It’s extremely common to have problems with it after giving birth, it’s the hormones. You will need to see a doctor though as some of the time you need to have it removed.
Otherwise you just need to find time to eat a bit more often, even in small amounts. Keep handy foods around like nuts, granola bars, protein bars, and even find time for a quick bowl of cereal.
Q: why do i have right side stomach pain?
i have pain and discomfort in the mid right side of my stomach for some time now, it comes and goes, but does not feel like gas. i’ve been taking MDS for a year now but not for this problem. what could be the problem? who should i go see?
A: what medications are you on?
it could be a list of things, gerd, gall stones, gastroenteritis, ibs
is it possible for you to see a Gastroentenologist
have you had an mri or ultra sound?
Q: 30 weeks pregnant lower stomach pain on the left side(right at belly button level?
I have this pain in my lower left side stomach( right a belly button level) that seems to come whenever i eat its a dull ache/stabbing kind of feeling it pretty mild but im still woried. I have heartburn, constipation and excess stomach acid could any of these be the reason why im feeling this pain?? or is this something else??
A: Sounds like Ligament pain. It would happen after you eat, because your stomach is expanding, and there obviously is already very little extra room!! Definately call your doctor, so that they can rule out anything else, but I wouldn’t be too worried!
Q: what causes upper right stomach pain?
i have been having this upper right stomach (near to the center of the stomach but more on the right side) i have pain amost everyday it comes and go (sometimes it can continue to pain for a few days) im very worried that it might be an ulcer/liver problem that cause the pain
A: Right Upper Quadrant pain can be a few things, however the first that comes to mind is Gallbladder. Pain in the RUQ radiating to the back, worse with eating especially fried or fatty foods. Also the 3 F’s…Fair, Fat and 40…fair skinned, overweight and near or over 40…does this fit? Could be ulcer, but I would expect that pain more centralized. Liver problems do not typically cause pain…just elevated blood tests and Jaundice(yellowing of the skin, eyes and under the tongue). If you develope a fever, have nausea, vomiting and or diarrhea…see a doctor. Good Luck!!
Q: For the past few days I have had a slight headache with lower right stomach pain that comes and goes.?
The stomach pain is mild. Sometimes it isn’t there at all. I also have been sleeping a lot and have been very fatigued. Sometimes I have an empty feeling in my stomach. Can someone explain what may be the cause of these symptoms. Thank you and god bless
A: I hope Eric isn’t having his period, Andy……
Check on appendicitis.
Q: what causes lower stomach and lower right stomach pain?
Sharper pain when u move, use the bathroom, laugh and just having pains all the time
A: could be acute appendicitis. Call your doctor’s office and ask to speak with the nurse. Describe the symptoms. If there is concern, they will tell you to go to the hospital.
Q: Lower right stomach pain and back pain?
My husband and I have been TTC for a month now and my period isn’t due for another couple days. I’m not sure if I’m preggo or not, but today I all of sudden couple push slightly on my right lower stomach and it hurts like a pinching hurt. Then, it will radiate to my lower right hand side of my back. Any suggestions? This just happened and is currently happening. It’s nothing severe, just something you notice. Any ideas?
A: It could be an ovarian cyst which usually come and go without problems, sometimes they take a few months to go away. With your period coming there’s more pressure in there probably. Also, a more serious thing would be ectopic pregnancy. I’m not a professional so that’s a shot in the dark.
Q: lower right stomach pain?
I have a pain on the lower right side of my stomach. i don’t really think it’s appendicitis because it doesn’t hurt when i push on it or let go, and it’s really low, almost where your thigh meets your abdomen.
what could it be? last night and slightly this morning, i had pain going straight up and down on my right side of the abdomen, almost in the position of where your large intestine would be.
this pain hasn’t been going on for a long time, maybe an hour or so. it hasn’t gotten worse. thanks!
A: Could be appendix or if you have eaten anything that causes gas like lots of dairy it could just be plain ol gas pain.
Q: Upper right quadrant stomach pain?
I’ve had a rather slight consistent pain in my upper abdomen right around the lower portion of my ribs. At first, I thought possibly my floating rib was just doing some funny stuff, but at times it can become really painful. It is also hard to touch when compared to the other side. I can actually feel a difference in the opposing sides when laying on my stomach.
any ideas?
A: Still have your kidneys? Maybe your drank a lot and liver is hurting? Stomach is inflamed? Many different reasons. Something is swollen or something foreign might be in the body. Eat healthy foods, and drink lots of water to flush your system. Seeing a physician who has equipment to look inside you is best bet.
Q: stomach pain on right side of belly button?
my gf has a really sharp pain ons the right side of her stomach right next to her belly button and it hurts her like hell and it hurts her to breathe and she can barely move…anyone know anything we can do for right now? We can’t go to the doctor cus its too late and we can’t afford it and she’s not taking any meds or isnt doing any drugs or isnt pregnant or anything like that
PLZ HELP!!!
and no she’s not on her period either
A: Sounds like some intestinal gas. Has she been constipated?
If you have a heating pad, place it on her stomach, on warm.
This is gonna sound weird but I learned it from a gastointestinal nurse….. get a can of veggies or something, it doesn’t matter what….and gently roll back and forth over the area with the pain.
If that doesn’t help and she has been constipated then go get her some Miralax, it is the best OTC laxative. A little expensive but has no taste and works fast without cramping.
Good Luck! You are a good boyfriend!!
Q: Emmense pain in right side of stomach?

A: um im not a doctor but you need to go to one ASAP…i don’t mean to scare you or anything, but it could be apendicitis….or your appendix might have ruptured…if you don’t go to a doctor soon you could have some REALLY BAD consequences….best wishes and I’ll pray for you

Q: UPPER RIGHT STOMACH PAIN?
I HAVE HAD PAIN IN THE UPPER RIGHT PART OF MY STOMACH FOR MONTHS NOW. ABOUT 3 IN. TO THE RIGHT OF MY BELLY BUTTON AND ONE INCH UP. IT ISN’T ACCOMPANIED BY ANY OTHER PROBLEMS IE. NAUSEA, DIARRHEA, CONSTIPATION. I HAVE HAD BLOOD WORK DONE, ULTRASOUND, HYDASCAN, CT, XRAYS AND DOCTORS CAN FIND NOTHING. THE PAIN IS REAL, SOMETIMES A DULL ACHE EXCEPT WHEN YOU TOUCH IT THEN EXCRUCIATING PAIN. I KNOW- DON’T TOUCH IT, BUT YOU NEVER REALIZE HOW MUCH YOU TOUCH A PART OF YOUR BODY UNTIL IT HURTS- BUMPING STOMACH INTO THINGS, LEANING OVER SOMETHING, PICKING BABY UP AND HE TOUCHES IT WITH HIS FOOT. I CAN PIN POINT THE PAIN. HAS ANYONE OUT THERE HAD PAIN LIKE THIS? DID YOU FIND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH YOU? I WILL DO ANYTHING- ALREADY SPENT $1000′S OF DOLLARS. EVEN CONSIDERING GOING TO IRIDOLOGIST THIS WEEK. (THEY READ YOUR EYES) SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE.
A: Sounds like your appendix. Are you sure this has been ruled out? Happened to me
Q: Why do I have stomach pain in the lower right side?
My stomach has had pain on and off since yesterday evening. Shortly after it started my right leg was hurting. When I went to bed I could hardly move. I also felt as if I were going to vomit. Today it is not as bad, but have no energy and my body is shaking somewhat. I still fell as if I may vomit. I do not know if this will help but I am 17 and am not pregnant.
A: Three possibilities come to mind: appendicitis, sever intestinal obstruction, hernia. All of those require a prompt visit to the doctor or ER.
Q: Sharp stomach pain in the lower right side when I stand up?
I am getting a very sharp pain in the lower right side of my stomach, i feel ok but get a sharp pain that takes my breath away when I stand up.It doesn’t happen all the just every so often but when it come it is really really painful!!
A: pain on the right lower quadrant could be associated with appendicitis. If you push on that side and quickly release and it causes intense pain that is rebound tenderness and is a sign of an inflamed appendix. It could also be an ovarian cyst. Each month you develop one of those if you have a normal menstral cycle. They will burst on their own and usually don’t cause any symptoms unless they get too large. It could also be some bowel gas and you may be constipated? Call your doctor and tell them your symptoms. Do you have an appetite? Most times with appendicits you won’t feel like eating anything. Do you have a fever? Go see the doctor and good luck.
