Q: What is this lower left side stomach pain?
I’ve been getting this really weird pain in the very bottom left side of my stomach and it doesn’t go away. I thought it might be gas but it’s not. I can’t feel anything by touching it but the pain kind of goes away when i push on it. I went to the bathroom so it’s not constipation and i’m afraid to take any pills not knowing what it is! i’m not sexually active so its not any type or pregnancy. Please help!
A: u could be lactose intolerant. i was getting this pain on the left side under my ribs for so long. i didnt know what it was, but that area always swelled up like a bubble was in there.
Turned out to be lactose intolerance. as soon as i cut out the dairy, it was gone THE NEXT day. try it. if it works, then u probably developed lactose intolerance. it usually developes when people reach adulthood, for those that get it.

A: It’s your ligaments stretching and preparing for the growth of your uterus, it’s caused by hormones. If it is like or worse than your period cramps or you have bleeding or spotting you should go to the ER or your doctor asap!

I have this pain in my lower left side stomach( right a belly button level) that seems to come whenever i eat its a dull ache/stabbing kind of feeling it pretty mild but im still woried. A: Sounds like Ligament pain. It would happen after you eat, because your stomach is expanding, and there obviously is already very little extra room!! Definately call your doctor, so that they can rule out anything else, but I wouldn’t be too worried!

My friend is having sharp pains in her right abdomen and spreading to her back, she has nausea and fevers, with low grade temps, and sometimes sweating. – she has no ovarian cyst or not pregnant she also DIDNT have sex.

A: The only safe thing to do for your friend is to have her see a Dr. What you described could be a few different things. Appendicitis, a right sided kidney infection or kidney stone for example. All of these conditions should be treated by a Dr. and you cant know whats wrong unless she is seen by a Dr. and he runs a few tests so he can make an accurate diagnosis. Even if it is something minor like a stomach flu, at least if she sees a Dr. you’ll know it and can stop worrying about her. Good luck!

A: are you drinking enough water and breathing properly while running? those are two things that sometime cause me stomach pain after running (not having enough water and not breathing properly cause the stomach pain).

A: um im not a doctor but you need to go to one ASAP…i don’t mean to scare you or anything, but it could be apendicitis….or your appendix might have ruptured…if you don’t go to a doctor soon you could have some REALLY BAD consequences….best wishes and I’ll pray for you

I am getting a very sharp pain in the lower right side of my stomach, i feel ok but get a sharp pain that takes my breath away when I stand up.It doesn’t happen all the just every so often but when it come it is really really painful!!
A: pain on the right lower quadrant could be associated with appendicitis. If you push on that side and quickly release and it causes intense pain that is rebound tenderness and is a sign of an inflamed appendix. It could also be an ovarian cyst. Each month you develop one of those if you have a normal menstral cycle. They will burst on their own and usually don’t cause any symptoms unless they get too large. It could also be some bowel gas and you may be constipated? Call your doctor and tell them your symptoms. Do you have an appetite? Most times with appendicits you won’t feel like eating anything. Do you have a fever? Go see the doctor and good luck.
Q: Severe Left Side Stomach Pain?
I have been having severe pain (burning type pain) in the left side of my stomach just below my ribs. It feels better when I apply pressure to the area. I have had trouble passing gas also. The pain was so bad I have been in tears. Any suggestions as to what it might be? I don’t know even what to look up online for symptoms.
A: The gas is the problem. You could try those Windeze tablets which help me ,or try some bicarbonate of soda to see if that helps . If simple measures don’t work see the doctor or ask a pharmacist . It could be IBS, that usually manifests itself on the left side .

since late november i been having lower right side stomach pain. i had a ultrasound back in december to check for appendicitis, and nothing showed up. Its not severe pain but when i push on my lower stomach it feels like a cramp. do u think this is appendicitis im scared to death to get that and dont want to go into surgery. i mean its been like this on and off for 3 months. can someone let me know..thanks
yea this is all good info, i should say that again its not severe and what i get told is that if this was appendicitis it would of happened already. I been back and forth to doctors for the last 4 months, im very healthy nothing wrong at all. so its pain right by my belly button..not severe..thanks for the help

A: It sounds like round ligament pains. The muscles in her stomach and around that area are being stretched and pulled, so it unfortunately is just part of pregnancy. Maybe a warm cloth will help…but never use an electric blanket.

A: Sally P has given you very good advice, but needs a lesson in manners. Yahoo Answers is a great place for advice. Someone with the same issue could be reading your problem and have solved it. Like me. I had these same pain issue’s and it turned out to be a disc ruptured and buldging into the spinal chord. So go see your doctor and get well soon! Nerve’s are nothing to take lightly.
