I’m about 7 weeks pregnant and I have been experiencing lower left stomach pain it’s pretty strong sometimes and goes away every once in a while. when I put pressure on the area that hurts it gets worse. It this normal? what could cause this?
A: It’s your ligaments stretching and preparing for the growth of your uterus, it’s caused by hormones. If it is like or worse than your period cramps or you have bleeding or spotting you should go to the ER or your doctor asap!

A: u could be lactose intolerant. i was getting this pain on the left side under my ribs for so long. i didnt know what it was, but that area always swelled up like a bubble was in there.
Turned out to be lactose intolerance. as soon as i cut out the dairy, it was gone THE NEXT day. try it. if it works, then u probably developed lactose intolerance. it usually developes when people reach adulthood, for those that get it.

I have this pain in my lower left side stomach( right a belly button level) that seems to come whenever i eat its a dull ache/stabbing kind of feeling it pretty mild but im still woried. I have heartburn,constipation and excess stomach acid could any of these be the reason why im feeling this pain?? or is this something else??
A: Sounds like Ligament pain. It would happen after you eat, because your stomach is expanding, and there obviously is already very little extra room!! Definately call your doctor, so that they can rule out anything else, but I wouldn’t be too worried!

im 13 years Old,ive been having this problem ffor some time i think it started around augustor july but i dont get it every day tho. its happening right now i get a pain in left stomach, lasts about 3 sec. and goes away about 20 seconds later it happens again. this doesnt happen all day. it happens in a cerain time period.
A: it may be a muscle strain but any kind of sharp pain in your abdomen or chest areas should be looked at by a doctor. it could be a big internal problem, or maybe its nothing. i would really just get it checked just in case it was something serious.

A: It could just be because you ate all the ice cream at once (assuming you got the munchies that bad.)
It could also be gas (try to fart it out.)
If it’s been too long and it still hurts, I would see the doctor.

Q: Lower back pain, gas pain, stomach pain, left side cramping, and heart hurts?
For the past 5 days I’ve had a lot of pain in my lower back, abdominals, my left side cramps up real bad, and my heart hurts. I’ve also been very gassy and it hurts sOOO bad.
I got really sick 7 months ago with…. fever, headache, vomitting, abdominal pain so bad i couldn’t walk, diarrhea, and bloody diarrhea. I was sick for 2 weeks and had lost about 10 pounds and got very skinny. i went to 4 doctors that couldn’t tell me what was wrong….it had either been ulcerative colitis (my uncle has it which increases my risk) OR a parasitic infection called giardia that had been transmitted by a ferret i had bought 7 days before getting ill…… the doc wanted a colonoscopy but i refused…….i had a stool sample that came back negative for everything (eggs/parasites, etc. everything NEGative!)…… i was put on metronidazole which is an antibiotic which seemed to wipe it out in about a week………
but NOW i’m back to hurting again………. my symptoms are listed at the top of the question… i’ve been pooping a lot (about 3-6 times daily) and sometimes it’s diarrhea….. my pain isn’t as bad as it was 7 months ago because i can still walk BUT i’ve been trying to workout (i workout about 6 days a week, eat 1800 calories a day, and eat completely healthy)……… and I can’t workout anymore because i hurt so much……. i can still lift weights but i can’t do cardio or elliptical…… i have gas pain sooo BADLY on a daily basis no matter what i eat…..
Can anyone offer advice or something that can fix this????? i’ve tried gasX and beano but they didn’t work……
A: I don’t believe it’s gallstones because they are usually triggered by eating fatty/greasy foods, which you stated that you eat healthy.
I’d advise going to the doctor in case of something more serious.
Q: Severe Left Side Stomach Pain?
I have been having severe pain (burning type pain) in the left side of my stomach just below my ribs. It feels better when I apply pressure to the area. I have had trouble passing gas also. The pain was so bad I have been in tears. Any suggestions as to what it might be? I don’t know even what to look up online for symptoms.
A: The gas is the problem. You could try those Windeze tablets which help me ,or try some bicarbonate of soda to see if that helps . If simple measures don’t work see the doctor or ask a pharmacist . It could be IBS, that usually manifests itself on the left side .

I just woke up, and felt this pain on my left side, below my stomach. A: Well if you were a girl, I would say ovarian cysts.. that’s what it feels like to me, minus the foot symptom. Are you sure the foot thing is related? 0_o
It could be ulcers, or perhaps just an awkwardly placed stool, or even gas. Shouldn’t be anything to worry about, unless it continues for more than a day.

Q: persistant stomach pain mainly left side feels like period pain?
For more than a month now i have been having radom spells of persistant stomach ache and strange bowel movements (diahhrea, constipation) I thought i was having period pain but when my peiod didnt arive for another 2 weeks then i new it wasnt now i have finished my weeks peridio the stomach pain is coming back more. It feels like the pain is comning from my left ovary?
A: Have you ever jogged for longer than you wanted and you get that pain in your side. Does it feel like that?
If the pain is on your left side and since you mentioned the other symptoms it sounds like Diverticulitis.
Usually the pain is more extreme with diverticulitis but here is a short read about it.

Q: Upper stomach pain, left side, period like cramps….?
I know I’ve posted this already but its too early for a HPT. (due in 13 days for period)
For the last 3-4 days I’ve been having sore nipples, sore breasts. I’ve also had upper stomach pain: Like I did when I had a gall stone. I know its not a gall stone as I had my gall bladder removed. My whole stomach feels yuckie, i have period like cramps. No appetite.
My husband and I aren’t actively trying to get pregnant but if it happens we both feel that’s what God wants for us. The only prevention we use is birth control, and I know that’s not 100%.
Am I just worrying over nothing? I know, TAKE A TEST closer to my period time, mostly if I miss it.
I guess I’m more hopeful then my husband to get pregnant. But with pregnancy’s, do you get upper stomach pains?

A: Honestly there is no way to tell, those cramps could just be an upset stomach. Or you could just be giving yourself pregnancy symptoms b/c you want to be. You just have to wait and test. Good Luck
